STARS Community Creations

Our Mission Statement

STARS Community Creations is a charitable organisation set up to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable adults within our community. This will be achieved through partnership with organisations who want better outcomes for vulnerable adults within BCBC.

STARS has no paid employees.

Our Aims

Our aim is to provide a resource for people with learning disabilities and with mental health issues to gain the skills that they will need to live more independently and to move into paid or voluntary employment.

Volunteering

The Centre is staffed by DBS checked support workers and volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to support individuals who attend the centre, then please contact us for further information. Volunteering involves carrying out activities such as arts and crafts, cooking/wellbeing, going to the gym, gardening, screen printing and laser cutting all under the guidance of our staff. It's an ideal role for people who enjoy helping others to fulfil their potential.
